KRC Membership

KRC is offering different membership facility to its patrons - like core, alumni and visiting faculty membership.

Core Membership:

This membership has been given to the core faculty members and the students of all programs

Faculty & Staff Membership:

The core faculty and staff are members of the library. Once the faculty / staff member joins the institution, by default he / she is eligible for getting the library services and facilities. The KRC services and the borrowing facility details which have been given to the faculty and staff was mentioned in detail in the n ‘Circulation Policy’ and ‘KRC Services’.

Student Membership :

Both full time programs MMS and PGDM and other short term course/s students are part of KRC membership, and each student get all the services and facilities of KRC.

Alumnae Membership :

It has been offered to the passed out students. After paying the prescribed library deposit, students can become an Alumnae member of the library. Such member will get following services.

Two books for a period of 15 days
Access to Databases
Reference / Referral Service
List of New arrivals / Content pages of Journals and magazines over email

To avail the Membership Alumnae Students need to provide the followings:

Library deposit : Rs. 5000/- (Refundable deposit)
Payment though cheque or DD favouring ‘RS – DSIMS, Mumbai’
Letter from the employer (optional)
Address proof – Either Ration card or Telephone bill etc.
Photo Identity proof – Either PAN card, Voter’s ID, Aadhaar Card, Diving License etc.

Visiting Faculty Membership :

Visiting faculty members are offered membership of the library for the duration of their appointment. He / She need to fill the ‘Visiting Faculty Membership Form’ and provide other documents like -

Passport size photograph
Address proof along with the photo identity

Once the form has been approved by the Director/ Program Chair Person they will be enrolled as member of the library.

Following services are offered to the visiting faculty members.

Barrowing facility of books - Maximum four books for the entire semester or trimester.
Reference / Referral Service
E-mail service - List of New arrivals and current content pages, News articles and Subject related articles
